Honeywell\nGround Support Solutions (GSS) is approximately a $20 million business. In this\nrole you will work with a cross-functional team of people based in South Bend,\nIndiana, Puerto Rico, Deer Valley, and the Czech Republic that applies their\nknowledge and expertise to provide tooling and test\nequipment solutions for commercial and military customers worldwide.

As\nan Advanced Engineering Support Specialist for Honeywell Ground Support Solutions (GSS), you will be responsible for overseeing activities related to the drawing\nEngineering Change Notice (ECN) process, new drawing release processes and data\ninterfacing to SAP/GTS. You will maintain procedures related to the\nGSS change management system. You will communicate with the GSS\norders team to ensure all drawings changes are distributed to GSS suppliers\nduring the manufacturing process. You will schedule ECN releases to ensure\ncustomer OTTR dates are met. You will work with the GSS order management team\nto ensure all parts are correctly loaded in the proper systems to support\ninternal and external order demand.

Key ResponsibilitiesImprove Engineering Change Notice (ECN) thru put and\n drive to increase customer OTTR while decreasing past duesGuide configuration\n management activities, including outsource drafting vendor support,\n internal drafting support and SAP Material Master interfacingCreate quarterly\n presentations to support overall Data Management performanceManage the drawing\n distribution process adhering to all export and document\n control rules and lawsFoster effective\n communication and collaboration with internal departments such as\n Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and Order Management and groups external\n to GSS such as Eng, SAP Support and Export compliance.Work\n with SAP and Teamcenter support teams to resolve any\n system issuesIdentify opportunities for\n process improvement within the Eng Supp Specialist functionSupport GSS purchasing team\n to ensure all documentation is properly classifiedU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE6+ years of experience\n engineering specialist or related roles.High School diploma or\n equivalent. 

WE VALUE 

Bachelor’s degree in\n engineering or related field is of value.Proficiency in a Product\n Data Management System, ERP System and SFDC is of value. Teamcenter, Technical Data\n Portal and SAP/ERP System experience is of value.Regulatory audit experience\n (AS9100D) a plus.Experience in a global\n organizationStrong leadership and team\n management skillsExcellent problem-solving and\n decision-making skills, with the ability to make data driven decisions.Effective communication and\n interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and\n data-driven decision-making skillsAbility to adapt to a\n fast-paced and changing environment
