Advanced Engineer Support Specialist - DV eFab
Innovate to solve the world's most important challengesWork with a team of Technicians and Engineering Resources in Electronic Test to design, develop, deliver, and support Test Equipment in the eFab (Electronic Fabrication group). Emphasis for this role will be on the Workflow and Inventory Management. Specifically, around ordering, tracking, receiving parts, managing e-stock, preparing build-kits, and all front-end activities involved in getting hardware assemblies ready for the technicians to build.
Below is a high-level summary of responsibilities and skills needed.This includes assembly, modification, repair of the following:High level understanding of Test Equipment assemblies and parts / components used to create them - Cable Harnesses, Circuit Cards, Break-out Boxes / Test Adapters, Power Controllers, Full-up Test Stations / Racks, EMI Fixtures, Micro-ElectronicsFamiliar with SAPFamiliar with configuration controls systems for Drawings - TeamcenterAble to read and understand electrical / mechanical schematics and prints is a plusWork directly with engineering with build recommendations and offer problem solving solutions via obsolescence research and alternative componentsFamiliar with IPC standards and/or become certified for inspection levelPerform inspections on completed assemblies from the TechniciansAble to create CAD drawings / schematics and release into Team Center / CAD familiarityComputer savvyAble to work across both sites DV and GlendaleU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
