Advanced Electrical Design Engineer

Job Expectations:

•     Work in a global team as an Individual contributor with complete responsibilities of electronic system design.

•     The responsibilities include schematic development, component selection, detailed design, verification testing and interfacing with other functional/support teams (such as mechanical, manufacturing process, simulation, drafting, ECAD, evaluation, marketing, supply chain and external test labs).

•     Additional responsibilities include technical report generation, documentation and progress reporting. It is also expected that the candidate would develop technical expertise is selected product line and develop proposals/growth ideas & work for improving the product line.

 

Skill Requirement:

Sound knowledge of Analog and Digital Electronics design.Hands-on experience of Micro-controller interfacing, Analog to Digital data conversion, designing with op-amps, transistors, MOSFET.Good knowledge about various serial communication protocols such as RS485, USB, CAN, SPI, and I2C.Hands on experience with comprehensive error budgeting of electronic circuits and good knowledge on noise analysisHands-on experience on EMI/EMC & best practices in the design & exposure to certification of productsPrefer working experience with Sensor signal conditioning circuits.Familiarity with silicon & IC Fabrication process, MEMS design and applicationMust have exhibited strong technical ownership in the full life cycle projects.Experience in Design for manufacturability, assembly & testing expertise.Experience in PCB schematics & layout design tools (Mentor Graphics).Conceptualize the product and translate the requirements into CTQs for design.Ability to automate data acquisition tasks with PC software like LabVIEW or PythonAbility to develop embedded programs in C-language.Demonstration of usage of six sigma tools in projects is preferred.Ability to statistically analyze data with tools like Excel, MATLAB, Minitab and Python.
