Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an ADVANCED ANESTHESIA MONITOR TECHNICIAN to join our team!
Under the medical direction of an anesthesia provider, the Advanced Anesthesia Monitor Technologist provides assistance during invasive hemodynamic monitoring and performs both invasive and non-invasive measurements and testing during surgical procedures. The technologist provides for the maintenance and monitoring of the equipment to perform these tests and ensures that strict quality standards are always maintained. This position services as a resource to members of the department for technical questions related to surgical clinical monitoring.
HOURS: Full Time or 0.8 FTE, 64 hours every pay period. Varied shifts.
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through the completion of an associate or bachelor’s degree program in biology, physics, or other healthcare related field.Completion of a hospital-based ECG class within 1 year of hire date.Previous clinical experience in an acute care setting or operating room environment desired.One year of previous experience performing relevant anesthesia related analytical or clinical measurement of surgical related monitoring services beneficial.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.Employee Benefits
