Adult Services Coordinator

Summary:

To support the adult programs with electronic information. The programs include ACT IHH GOP PACS and all residential programs at the Johnston site. The information includes collecting/recording required data (e.g. BHOLD documentation due dates enrollments insurance screenings episodes of care etc.). Responsibilities will include running electronic health record reports to monitor data and identify documentation due dates troubleshooting and fixing problems with encounters charges enrollments and payors that prevent billing for services and providing data to support quality improvement efforts.

 

Responsibilities:

Work with program managers and directors to identify their data needs for program monitoring and compliance developing systems and reports for data collection and reporting.

Input client opening and closing data in LifeChart including episodes and care team information.

Monitor client encounter data for compliance with service requirements.

Track clients receiving evidence-based practices and their response to treatment as measured by outcome scales and indicators such as hospitalizations and no-shows.

Provide weekly and/or monthly caseload reports to managers that track case assignments documentation completion dates BHOLD data completion DLA and OEI data episodes and gaps in treatment.

Train staff in completing required data and supporting their documentation in LifeChart.

Work with program staff to fix episode documentation and caseload issues.

Make adjustments to charge codes as needed in LifeChart to resolve billing errors.

Attend meetings with billing and/or management staff to discuss assess and plan protocol that will minimize data errors and maximize revenue for the program.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or needed.

 

Other information:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor�s degree in a social or human service field such as psychology public health behavioral health education rehabilitation.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Advanced skills in Excel and ability to work in an electronic medical record.

Knowledge of office procedures

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and work with minimum supervision.

Ability to carry out duties independently and in a timely manner in a diversified setting.

Good communication skills and pleasant manner.
