We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for an Adult Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team at Beckett Springs Behavioral Health Hospital, located in West Chester, OH. With our volume steadily increasing and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients, we are seeking a dedicated psychiatrist to cover our 24-bed adult unit and contribute to our mission of promoting mental wellness in our community.
The selected psychiatrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adults admitted to our 24-bed unit. With our average length of stay at 10 days and a consistently high occupancy rate, the successful candidate can anticipate a stimulating and rewarding caseload. Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. Additionally, the psychiatrist will be expected to provide on-call coverage for at least one week per month, with an average of 2 to 3 admissions per day.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adult patients.Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' clinical needs and goals.Provide medication management and psychotherapy as indicated, in collaboration with the treatment team.Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated care.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.Requirements:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution and completion of a residency in Psychiatry; board certification preferred.Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Ohio, or eligibility for licensure.Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting preferred.Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and patients.
