Adult Psychiatry (Inpatient and Outpatient) Advanced Practice Provider

Position Information

Full-time, 1.0 FTE Monday- Friday, 8am-4:30pm Weeknight call (by phone) 1:3 Weekend rotation 1:6 Location: Rice Memorial Hospital (Inpatient Unit & Outpatient Clinic located in the same building)

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient care on 12-bed unit in the mornings, clinic visits in the afternoon Participates actively in efforts to improve patient care, patient experiences, and employee engagement. Engages in teaching opportunities for student learners, residents, new providers, other team members, and community members and organizations. Supports research through the conduction of collaborative research activities as requested by SCH leadership or adult psychiatrists.

Qualifications:

Must meet one of the following requirements

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota required. Current licensure as an APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) in the State of Minnesota required Certification as an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner required

Clinical Nurse Specialist

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota required Current licensure as an APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) in the State of Minnesota required Certification as an Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist required

Physician Assistant

National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Certification Minnesota Registration
