**Job Description** **The Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic of Mount Sinai Hospital, within the Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is seeking a New York State Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join the program as a full time member of the Faculty.** Responsibilities will include provision of direct clinical services, including crisis intervention, diagnostic assessment, individual and group psychotherapy, and assessment to a diverse population of patients age 18+ in an outpatient mental health clinic. The psychologist will also work closely with other faculty members of the program to deliver psychotherapeutic treatments within an outpatient faculty practice model. The Psychologist will also have an active role in the teaching and supervision of psychology trainees and psychiatry residents. **Qualifications/Requirements:** + Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical or counseling psychology + Completion of APA-approved clinical pre-doctoral internship + New York State psychology license + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and to work as a member of a team + Excellent clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of patients presenting to the adult outpatient clinic + Lead the intensive outpatient track within the adult outpatient clinic. + Participate in reviewing referrals, monitoring progress in treatment within the intensive track, and adjusting treatment goals + Experience in providing evidence-based treatment to a diverse high risk population (individual and group) + Demonstrated competence in crisis intervention, assessing need for psychiatric hospitalization, handling psychiatric emergencies, and supervising referrals for inpatient care + Experience and interest in teaching and supervision of trainees + Excellent writing skills and ability to manage responsibilities of documentation + Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals/groups + Understanding of best practices in diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy + Compensation range from 120K to 170K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits) **Salary Disclosure Information:** Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
