What will you do? Turn greyhounds out on a daily basis Assist with screening adoption applicants Clean and disinfect kennels and kennel areas regularly Oversee the health of each greyhound including dispensing medications and bathing Monitor groups of dogs while in a play group to ensure the safety of pets More about you No high school diploma or GED required Experience working in an environment with large dogs of varied temperaments, preferably in a kennel setting Able to determine when a dog may be in need of medical attention Organized with the ability to maintain schedules, appointments, and competing priorities Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Physical requirements Ability to lift a greyhound and materials weighing up to 80 pounds Long-term standing, walking, bending, and reaching Comfortable working indoors and outdoors with varying weather conditions Shift details
