Admissions RN - $7500 Sign on Bonus!

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Utica is actively seeking an Admissions RN for our 220-bed Skilled Nursing Facility.

Wed, Thurs. & Fri. 8am-8pm

NO WEEKENDS NO HOLIDAYS

New York State Registered Nursing Licensing Required

Duties Include: 

Initiate admission assessments on new Residents / hospital returns & initiates initial care plan. Assist with the development & direction of the Nursing Department as directed by the DON. Assess PRI's & coordinate all components of the admission process with the interdisciplinary team. Responsible for auditing records to ascertain compliance with facility standards. Perform required charting according to policy / procedure. Complete MDS, care plans and other documents as assigned. Maintain the confidentially of all Resident information as per HIPAA and Corporate guidelines. May be assigned to supervise, direct and/or provide Resident care as necessary.

Requirements/Qualifications: 

Must have an active / unrestricted NYS Registered Nurse License. Prior experience as an admissions nurse, long term care settings perferred Should have excellent clinical assessment skills Ability to make great independent decisions Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
