The position
We are looking to build out our Capital Markets administration team in Guernsey. With strong growth across all sectors of our client portfolio and an increase in Guernsey related enquiries, we are expanding our Channel Islands offering to support continued client demand in this region and are actively recruiting.
We are experts in all aspects of debt capital markets, handling standalone note issuance SPVs, to multi programme issuers, including asset backed securities, synthetic securitisation and structured finance across a variety of jurisdictions.
In terms of our services, we provide company secretarial, director, cash administration, escrow, share trustee services on the majority of client entities under our administration. Each administrator manages a portfolio of both individual clients and large corporate structures, with the support of our management team.
The responsibilities include incorporation, transaction setup, and the day-to-day administration of each SPV, from establishment through to dissolution, ensuring financial and operational targets are achieved.
Your responsibilities
Work with the wider Channel Islands team to manage your clients’ portfolio, adhering to internal policies, processes and appropriate legislation. Be responsible for the administration of a portfolio of Capital Markets structures and ensure clients are managed effectively including: Preparation of board packs and minutes of meetings Review and comment on legal documentation Updating client statutory records, databases and registers Proactively communicate with your clients and wider team to fulfill our responsibilities as a corporate service provider and develop client relationships. Demonstrate professionalism and ownership of your daily responsibilities. Interface with the Guernsey Registry/GFSC to facilitate the incorporation or dissolution of entities and statutory filings. Assist with the scheduling of board meetings, preparation of board materials (including minutes/resolutions), payments and any other administrative duties required. Ensure client books and records are clearly updated with all correspondence and legal documentation. Seek personal development utilising internal and external training opportunities and relevant professional qualifications. Accurately record all time spent dealing with client matters to ensure clients are correctly invoiced. Be conscious of client’s agreed fees and scope of work/responsibilities.Your profile
Be able to deal with tasks independently and demonstrate own initiative. Have an attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload, whilst being flexible to change. Must be committed and driven to achieving excellence for themselves and their clients. Strong academic background, seeking career progression. Ideally have or studying towards professional qualification i.e. CGI/ICSA/STEP/ACCA Good communication skills. Be responsible and approachable when given tasks by a team members.
