General Summary

The Billing Administrator position is responsible for coordination and management of multiple billing processes throughout all divisions. This position is also instrumental in communicating billing changes and providing daily feedback that impact Billing contact center operations.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to and process customer billing inquiries received via telephone, voicemail, Chat, Email and Mail.Provide daily support and feedback to the billing teams Provide daily coaching and training to Customer Care Reps and Leadership/Reporting Review, qualify and approve all customer credit adjustmentsCredit management – Collections Harris & Harris Manual review, approval and disapproval of Automated RefundsEFT reversals, manual application of NSF Fees, and credit card chargebacks/disputes Processes Tax Exemption Certificates, Bankruptcy notifications, subpoenas and Vendor Forms Evaluate/Process Lockbox exceptions/misapplied paymentsManage Delinquency Dialer and Non-Pay Disconnect ActivityEmployee Comped Account Management Administers user maintenance as required for customer care representative accessibility in the CSG billing portal – user access, password resets and deletion of accountsAcquisitions – Manual imports/Clean Up. Contact Center Support/Escalations/Disputes/Import ErrorsEnterprise, Host and SMB customer account billing (VIP). Coordinate accurate and timely account set-up, manage service credit calculations per SLA, customer disputes, delinquency activity, NP and VD disconnect processing/ETF and USAC payment application/reconciliationsManages resolution of billing escalation tickets in an accurate and timely mannerIdentifies and escalates system issues/processes to ITDaily, weekly and monthly reporting of all processes managed by Corp BillingAssist Accounts Payable with bi-yearly audits Other tasks as assigned 

Job Requirements

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills Must be able to work independently – manage time effectively Must be able to demonstrate attention to accuracy on all duties and responsibilities Comprehensive knowledge of billing policies, procedures, and practices 1+ year experience in a customer service related roleExperience with CSG Billing System required

Working Conditions

Employee remains in the sitting position for prolonged hours. Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Working conditions may include being in an open (shared) cubicle/workspace area.
