Summary About the Position: This is an Administrative Officer, GS-0341-12 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District and located in Tulsa, OK. Responsibilities Analyzes mission, management objectives, and organizational goals to determine current and projected personnel needs and potential placement opportunities/issues. Advises and assists management and staff with civilian personnel life cycle events, from hire to retire, and provides referral to proponent offices as appropriate. Provides advice, guidance, and direct support to managers, supervisors, and employees on program policies, regulatory requirements, and procedures such as availability and eligibility requirements and planning job-related career development. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Advising management officials on policy/regulatory matters affecting the organization; AND 2) Planning, coordinating and monitoring organizational actions to ensure successful outcomes; AND 3) Understanding of training, personnel regulations and procedures to assist senior managers and provide advice and human resource assistance to employees and supervisors. AND 4) Utilizing multiple software programs (ex. DCPDS, AutoNOA, etc.) to track the status of recruitments. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Information Management Information Resources Strategy and Planning Oral Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
