**Position Description:**
Performs support and coordinative work in direct support of an administrative team of a specific administrative office or department. Coordinates and assists with functions such as planning, researching, budgeting and program implementation and evaluation. Performs responsible and complex office support duties, thus relieving the administrator of these duties. Work is performed under administrative supervision.

**Major/Essential Functions:**
+ The Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to the Center for Advocacy in Teacher Leadership for Youth and Schools with Technology (CATALYST) and the Center for Innovative Research in Change, Leadership, and Education (CIRCLE).
+ Facilitate daily operation of the centers.
+ Coordinate logistics for events and projects.
+ Assist with data tracking and curation tasks.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Manage calendars for the directors of CATALYST and CIRCLE, scheduling meetings and appointments as needed.
+ Serve as primary point of contact for inquiries and communications for both centers.
+ Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
+ Prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and distribute notes as required.
+ Monitor and manage shared email accounts for CATALYST and CIRCLE.
+ Assist in planning and coordinating events, workshops, and training sessions for both centers, including scheduling venue arrangements and catering.
+ Track data, deadlines, and deliverables for center projects and initiatives.
+ Support the dissemination of materials and reports to stakeholders.
+ Process purchase orders, expense reports, ePAFs, and reimbursements in alignment with University policy.
+ Monitor budgets for both centers, ensuring accurate records for expenditures.
+ Draft and distribute emails, newsletters, and promotional materials for center programs and events.
+ Develop and update content on websites and social media platforms for CATALYST and CIRCLE.
+ Assist with data entry, tracking and reporting for center initiatives.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Associate's degree in business administration, communications, education, or a related field.
+ At least two years of experience in an administrative/support role of equivalent work experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and online meeting platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
+ Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
+ Familiarity with academic or research environments.
+ Experience with financial processes, including budget management and procurement.
+ Knowledge of website management tools and social media platforms.
+ Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects.
+ Commitment to the educational missions of both centers.
