Summary:

 Provides administrative and technical support to enhance all parking and transportation operational goals as directed by the Parking and Transportation Manager. This position will support the department's day-to-day operations by performing various office functions and interacting with management, staff, and others using Baystate Health parking areas.

Responsible for maintaining a professional atmosphere in the office and conducting in a manner that supports the credibility, dignity, and respect of self and the department

Job Requirements:

1) Provides prompt, professional, courteous answers to telephone calls, email inquiries, or requests for general assistance regarding parking within 24hrs

2) Handling general office tasks such as maintaining electronic data logs and physical filing systems and clerical duties as assigned by the manager.

3) Maintains and reorders decals and forms needed to support the department

4) Supports Parking and Transportation Manager/ department  with relevant data collection, reporting, and administrative needs

5) Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and Word. Ability to report data to multiple recipients as directed by the Parking Manager.

6) Ability to verbally communicate in a clear, concise, and  professional manner in person, over the phone, and in email

7) Aptitude to learn department-specific software programs that support parking operations

8) Ability to work in a self-sufficient and productive manner with minimal  errors  and oversight

9) Other duties as assigned

Minimally Required Experience:

Proficient in Microsoft applications (word, excel, and outlook).
