**Job Description**
AECOM's Financial team in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant with a background in Finance or Accounting. This role is integral to supporting the team's daily operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and organization in a dynamic work environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Administrative Support:**
+ Manage day-to-day administrative tasks with a focus on financial and accounting-related documentation.
+ Prepare, review, and edit financial reports, presentations, and documents to ensure compliance with company standards.
+ Maintain an organized filing system for financial and project-related records, facilitating efficient document retrieval.
+ Schedule and coordinate meetings, including those focused on budgets, financial planning, and accounting reviews.
**Finance & Accounting Assistance:**
+ Assist in tracking and recording expenses, invoices, and financial transactions in collaboration with the Finance team.
+ Perform data entry tasks related to budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
+ Generate basic financial reports and analyses to assist the Finance team in decision-making and tracking key metrics.
**Document Control & Compliance:**
+ Maintain document control procedures for financial records, ensuring accessibility, accuracy, and proper labeling.
+ Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
**Qualifications**
+ Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
+ Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a professional services or engineering environment.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
+ A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
