Administrative Assistant
A successful Administrative Assistant shall provide high-level administrative support by performing general office duties, such as; ordering supplies and distributing incoming correspondence, including faxes and mail; preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of general office functions; proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software with emphasis on Microsoft Office; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment. In order to perform this job, you must demonstrate, either by training or experience: the ability to work safely, with or without supervision the ability to follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing the ability to organize workload to determine priority of duties excellent manual dexterity the ability to answer phones and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages Responsibilites Completion of low level tasks in support of an assigned department/project Receive, organize, file, and maintain documents and/or data for an assigned department/project Create, update, validate and forward various forms of communication to internal and external recipients Read, interpret, and input data in support of an assigned department/project IND1 #Zip1 Who we're looking for... Prior work related experience. Proficient in the use of office hardware and software. (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.) Excellent Customer Service skills and strong English language skills both oral and written. Authorized to work in the United States.
