SUMMARY

 

Stampede Ventures, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified, full-time Administrative Assistant to support our New Mexico regional operations. The successful candidate will perform day to day office duties and project coordination activities, communicate with and support the project teams, have a good working knowledge of office activities such as filing, copying, scanning, faxing and be computer efficient especially with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Draft and /or compile administrative support materialEstablish and maintain a comprehensive filing systemCommunicating with and supporting the office team and Stampede employeesProfessionally receive and respond to phone callsOperate a personal computer, various office equipment and computer software, e.g. Microsoft Office, Word processor, spreadsheetsMaintain a professional demeanor and positive attitudeOther duties as assigned Qualifications

Required (Minimum) Qualifications

High School Diploma1 to 3 years of administrative support experienceValid driver’s license

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Considerable knowledge of office practices, procedures and equipmentConsiderable knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to perform filing and other clerical workAbility to maintain an effective working relationship

Preferred

Experience workAssociate’s Degree in related fieldExperience with project coordinationExperience with tracking and managing Certified Payroll

This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No direct supervision requirements.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS   

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
