Job Overview:

Perform secretarial duties to the daily demands of the Cancer Ctr-Admin department. Acts as an administrative contact for all patients, family members, and visitors by demonstrating immediate, courteous, and cooperative interactions at all times.

Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.3-5 years administrative secretarial experience required.Detailed knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word for Windows, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Microsoft Office.Excellent communication skills.Ability to meet deadlines and manage projects.Strong anticipation skills and forward-thinking.Excellent communication skills.Able to interact at all levels with internal and external personnel, as well as senior staff.

Preferred:

Associate's/Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Scheduling Requirements:

Full-time, Day

Essential Functions:

Provides secretarial/administrative support directly to the Blood Disorder s Chief and The Cellular Therapy Chief exercising confidentiality.Perform standard secretarial tasks (e.g., faxing, scanning, etc.)Using business software applications (e.g., word processing, and spreadsheet) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.; may prepare responses to routine correspondence and inquiries.Manage the provider s Outlook and clinical schedule. Schedule provider meetings, submit vacation requests.Receives, screens, and directs incoming calls, patients, mail and emails.Maintains files, records, calendars, arranges business travel and reimbursements, coordinates meeting arrangements and tracks expenses.May assist with scheduling patients per provider requests.
