Major Responsibilities A classroom based 3 credit hour course pays $3500 per class. The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. LIT 693 – Applied Assessment and Instruction: Literacy Capstone and Practicum Functional and Supervisory Relationships Reports to department chair Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Literacy/Reading Education or related field.
Competency with technological tools Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience teaching online courses at the college level
• New York State certification in Literacy/Reading.
• Doctorate in Literacy/Reading Education or related field.
