A classroom based 3 credit hour course pays $3500 per class and student teacher supervision pays $325 per placement, per quarter. Major Responsibilities The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in foundations of education, inclusive education, educational leadership or a related field. Preferred Qualifications • New York State certification in special education or educational leadership.
• Doctorate in special education, foundations of education, educational leadership or related field.
• At least three years of teaching in P-12 schools.
