Position Summary:

The Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at the Florida Atlantic University is actively recruiting a board-certified Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or a board-certified Dermatologist to serve as Faculty for the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program. We are seeking dedicated clinicians committed to a shared mission of caring and teachers dedicated to training future leaders in dermatology through our nationally accredited program. The Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing offers a superb academic environment in which to work.

Applicants must have strong dermatology skills and a commitment to academic dermatology. You must have proficient competency in teaching and an interest in the training of Nurse Practitioner students.

Minimum Qualifications:

An MSN, DNP, MD, DO, or foreign equivalent is required. The successful candidate must be board certified in Dermatology. Candidates can be licensed in any state of the United States.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:
Applicants should have appropriate teaching skills in an online or hybrid environment that will enable them to function successfully in providing education and training experiences for Nurse Practitioner students in a major academic/healthcare environment.

The selected candidate for this position is required to submit an official transcript sent directly from the institution for the Provost’s credential file prior to the first day of employment. Similarly, for degrees from outside the United States, the evaluation by an organization belonging to the National Association of Credential Evaluation (NACES), with an indication of the documents the evaluation was prepared from (official transcripts, diplomas, dissertation abstracts) is required for the Provost’s credential file prior to the first day of employment. Transcripts must be issued to Florida Atlantic University, not to the individual applicant.
