Responsibilities

Assist Actuarial team by performing premium and loss reserving calculations, research, and other actuarial analyses.  Provide data/analytic expertise to support actuarial services including financial reporting, trend analysis, utilization studies, rate development and claims liability estimates.

Key functions include but are not limited to the following:

Contribute to the design, construction, and implementation of tools and processes for assessing rate adequacyAssist in the assessment of rate level adequacy for the Company’s various lines of business Develop data sets for analytics and reporting.  Participate in predictive modeling efforts and recommend enhancements for analysis and company processesSupport the Company’s rating plans, rates, factors, and pricing tools, including providing actuarial support for state filingsContribute to production and improvement of reports for Corporate and internal customersAssist with loss/loss adjustment expense reserve analysis on a quarterly basisPerform other duties and/or projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math/statistics, Economics, finance or other related disciplines2+ Casualty Actuarial Exams completed and a commitment to completing CAS exam process Additional Company Details We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies or firms.
