Activity Therapist
Moses Taylor's Senior Behavioral Health unit is seeking a full-time **Activity Therapist** . + Four (4) year Bachelor’s Degree required + 1-3 years experience in social work/recreational therapy preferred. + Current BLS certification required. + Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) desired. Completes the Master Treatment Plan as directed. Attends Treatment Teams . Ensures problems and identified goals are reviewed for appropriateness and realistic for the patient, and revise as needed. Creates short term individual goals that encourages patient progress. Reviews the treatment plan daily. Revises/updates treatment goals as appropriate daily based on patient progress. Organizes and conducts therapy groups and documents to the treatment plan. Determines patient needs by documentation of medical records, personal observation and communication with patient, family/significant other. Executes the therapeutic programs based upon patient needs. Keeps current on communal and therapeutic resourcesavailable. Performs adjunctive therapy assessments within procedural timelines. Provides crisis intervention, behavior management, and behavior modification as needed and specified in the individual treatment plan and unit program guidelines. Organizes and conducts multi-family groups, as needed. Documents group participation, according to documentation requirements. Reviews data with treatment as needed.
