We are looking for an experienced Acoustic Data Analyst with demonstrated experience supporting DoD requirements to join our team at Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD), West Bethesda, MD!

A week in the life of an Acoustic Data Analyst:

Process and report the analysis results of acoustic data collected by recording systems during SONAR groom and calibration events. Generate Sonar Calibration (SOCAL) reports.  Provide support for the TUBA Acoustic Reporting and Processing System (TARPS) laboratory efforts, including developing, integrating, testing, and sustaining upgrades to the acoustic processing systems. Support NSWCCD engineers in the development of new acoustic data processing equipment and associated Research and Development (R&D) efforts.  Support development of technical documentation and procedures, provide In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) support, support fleet training efforts, support Sonar Calibration (SOCAL) trial efforts, and provide engineering support to TUBA system development and upgrade efforts.  Assist NSWCCD in analyzing measurement data in support of generic and platform certification efforts, as well as to investigate problems and verify proper system behavior.
