Our continually expanding client base gives us an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in various industries.  We are seeking full-time Engineering Field Technicians with ACI certification(s) to join our Blacksburg, VA team.    Responsibilities: + Observing and testing soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry & asphalt according to applicable standards and regulations + Preparing accurate field reports and assisting with laboratory testing + Daily interaction with team members and various project stakeholders + Obtaining necessary certifications and training + Other related tasks, as assigned by supervisor Experience, Skills & Abilities: + ACI Concrete/Soils current certification + Ability to work off-shift hours, including some weekends + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures + Attention to detail, problem solving, reliability, and effective communication + Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving history   + Ability to periodically lift and carry 50 pounds of weight and stand for long periods of time Benefits: + 401(k) + Paid time-off + Paid holidays + Medical insurance + Dental insurance + Vision insurance + AD&D insurance + Career development + Certification assistance At this time, Stevenson Consulting will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
