This role will be responsible for handling an assigned portfolio of accounts. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will collaborate closely with sales, finance. accounting and operations teams to help streamline processes and optimize cash flow. Key Responsibilities: + Respond to internal and external customer inquiries promptly and professionally + Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and ensure proper reconciliation of customer accounts. + Collaborate with sales and cash application team to resolve client billing and payment issues. + Responsible for timely follow-up on overdue invoices for an assigned portfolio of accounts + Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations (e.g., GAAP). + Support the month-end closing process by assisting with documentation and reports when necessary Requirements: + Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field + 3 to 5 years of collections experience, with demonstrated ability to achieve results + Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. + Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) + Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and problem-solving skills + Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
