Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist in Longwood, FL. This position will be responsible for handling all aspects of invoice entry, vendor payments, and vendor statement reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have strong A/P experience, a solid understanding of QuickBooks Desktop, and excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely processing. Key Responsibilities: Invoice Entry & Processing: + Enter and verify invoices into the system accurately and on time. + Ensure proper coding of expenses and ensure all supporting documentation is complete. Vendor Payments: + Process vendor payments (check, ACH, or other payment methods) in a timely manner. + Maintain accurate records of all payment transactions. Vendor Statement Reconciliation: + Regularly reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy. + Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with vendors. General A/P Support: + Maintain up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions. + Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable. + Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues as needed. Reporting & Compliance: + Assist in the preparation of reports related to accounts payable for management. + Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures. Requirements Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar A/P role. Strong knowledge and experience with QuickBooks Desktop.
