Description A top-notch Oil and Gas company located in The Woodlands, Texas, is actively seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This dynamic position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the exciting Energy/Natural Resources industry. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your main responsibilities will include maintaining customer accounts, handling customer inquiries, and effectively processing debits and credits. Key Responsibilities: • Manage customer accounts with utmost accuracy across various documentation and systems. • Process high volumes of debit and credit memos on a monthly basis, tied to contract agreements. • Regularly generate and scrutinize customer statements. • Promptly respond to customer inquiries pertaining to account information and payment status. • Ensure fortitude in maintaining all customer files, adhering strictly to standard procedures. • Utilize electronic portals such as ADP Open Invoice and Ariba for invoice submissions. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status. Requirements Qualifications & Skills: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (AR). • Proficiency in Billing, Collections, Open Invoice, Ariba, and Credit Memo. • Prior experience in the Energy/Natural Resources industry. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service. • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to efficiently juggle multiple tasks. • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in creating and managing financial reports. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. • Ability to function independently and collaboratively within a team. • Problem-solving prowess, with the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
