Accounts Receivable Specialist is a position within Finance organization with the primary focus and purpose being debt settlement through cash collection from businesses and dispute resolution in collaboration with internal teams at Zebra. The role is responsible for assigned portfolio of medium to large business customers and reports directly to Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
• Monitors and actively manages portfolio of customer accounts
• Identifies and resolves overdue invoices and discrepancies
• Ensures that customer payments are processed correctly
• Communicates via e-mail and telephone with external and internal customers (Sales, Finance,
Order Management, Contract Services, Repairs, etc.) and Stakeholders
• Investigates and resolves ad hoc customer queries
• Cooperates with Credit team to mitigate risk
• Provides input to reporting such as Cash Forecast and Bad Debt Reserve
• Regularly reports on delinquent customer accounts to Supervisor
• Reviews and releases orders on hold according to the Global Credit Policy
• Maintains regular notes on delinquency for audit purposes
• Determines if customers are eligible to receive a refund
• Plays an active role in a goal-oriented and supportive team environment
• Makes recommendations to improve Collections processes
• Actively participates in transitions, integrations, and other assigned projects within Accounts Receivable
Qualifications:
1-2 years of work experience is a plusAdvanced level of written and spoken English (B2)Knowledge of computers and MS office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Organized individual with attention to detail Ability to work individually and in a teamStrong time management skill Ability to deliver to deadlines and work under pressureProfessional with ability to adapt to changing environment
