Job Description

Eurofins Air Toxics is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team! 

Job duties will include but not limited to:

Accounts Receivable

Business to business collections – minimum of 30 client contacts per day through email or phone callsSubmissions of special handling invoices – i.e., use of 3rd party client portals to submit invoicesProcessing of manual invoices and manual credit memos for Eurofins Air ToxicsProcessing of new clients, including completion of vendor forms and providing credit reportsDaily documentation and submission of detailed collection notes in ExcelDaily review of accounts receivable aging report and cash receipts reportDaily/weekly submission/reconciliation of unapplied payments and credits; bad debt expense (BDE) forms, and other related paperworkLead weekly AR meetings – Must have quick access to accurate client informationDaily use of accounting and laboratory databases.  Systems training will be provided.Respond to customer inquiries, including providing copies of invoices, chain of custodies, monthly statements, and other related paperworkLiaise between Project Managers, Office Manager and corporate officeWill be trained on AP duties as ‘backup’Other duties as assigned – providing AR/sales reports from the system, placing accounts on financial hold through the system, provide audit documentation, and others.

QualificationsMinimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts receivableStrong English verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsAnalytical and problem solving skillsComputer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting programs and the MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, etc) and email at a highly proficient levelVery effective organizational skillsStress management and time management skills – i.e., ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines, resourceful, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English

Additional Information

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5  p.m. with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Folsom, CA are encouraged to apply.

Compensation range: $22 - $24 / hour (DOE).

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base compensation of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
