Description We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team based in Kansas City, Missouri. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your primary responsibility will be to manage customer credit applications, maintain comprehensive customer credit records, and effectively address customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for overseeing customer accounts and implementing necessary measures. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Uphold and manage detailed customer credit records • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Conduct B2B collections as part of accounts receivable duties • Manage cash activity and cash applications as part of billing functions • Maintain proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems • Utilize CRM and Epic Software for managing customer interactions and data • Perform all accounting functions related to accounts receivable • Manage cash handling procedures as per organizational policies and standards. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions to ensure accurate financial reporting • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes to manage incoming payments • Experience with Billing Functions to issue invoices and account statements • Comfortable handling Cash Activity for accurate cash flow management • Experience in Cash Handling for secure and efficient transactions • Familiarity with Accounts Receivables Systems to streamline AR processes • Background in B2B Collections to manage and recover outstanding payments • Experience in Collections to recover outstanding account balances • Proficiency in Cash Applications to accurately apply incoming payments to outstanding invoices.
