Description Robert Half is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a growing company in Escondido, CA. Key Responsibilities: + Process and post customer payments and invoices, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. + Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues efficiently by coordinating with internal teams and external clients. + Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly AR summaries and reports for management review. + Conduct follow-up on overdue accounts and initiate collection calls or emails as needed. + Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, or account balances. + Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure timely payments. + Reconcile AR sub-ledger balances to the general ledger. + Assist in month-end closing activities related to AR processes. Requirements + Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred. + Experience: 1-2 years of AR or billing experience. + Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. + Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a customer service mindset.
