Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring the timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong aptitude for numbers, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. + Prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner. + Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies before invoicing. + Monitor accounts for overdue payments and follow up with customers to ensure timely collection. + Process payments received via checks, credit cards, ACH, and other methods. + Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. + Investigate and resolve account discrepancies. + Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account balances. + Work collaboratively with customers to address and resolve payment issues. Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred). + Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. + Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping. + Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks. + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
