Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Receivable Clerk within the Wholesale Distribution industry in Norfolk, Virginia, United States. In this role, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing customer accounts, processing customer credit applications, and maintaining accurate credit records. Responsibilities • Administer lockbox operations • Oversee credit card processing • Handle ACH processing • Conduct collections efforts • Administer exemption certificates • Set up new accounts and maintain existing ones • Manage proof of delivery • Oversee billings for embedded branches like NNSY Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role • Proven proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) • Strong skills in Data Entry • Experience with Collections - Commercial is required • Ability to process Credit Card Payments • Familiarity with the Wholesale Distribution industry is a plus • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software • Strong organizational and time management skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
