The Role
The Accounts Receivable and Collections Manager position is responsible for ensuring our multi-billion dollar subscription and services revenue base converts to collected cash on a timely basis. Responsibilities include managing the AR portfolio to ensure timeliness of collections, overseeing cash applications and reporting, and building strong partnerships with both internal and external customers. The role manages a global team of 10-12 today, and is responsible for maintaining a strong, focused, and high-performing team.What You'll DoLead a global team of 10-12 accounts receivables professionals, creating a strong team culture, clear direction, and high bar for executionAssess the effectiveness of current processes to identify ways to improve the timeliness of paymentsDevelop and maintain high-quality processes, lead analysts, and work effectively across the Veeva organization to identify and resolve operational challenges that could potentially impact the invoicing of our customers and cash collectionsCollaborate with the leadership of the Finance, Sales, and IT teams to support the best customer experience for existing Veeva customersDrive cash forecasting and report on trendsRecruit and hire team members, as necessary, who can work independently and deliver high-quality results consistentlyRequirements10+ years of work experience, including 5+ in a finance role5+ years of managing teams in a dynamic environmentHighly developed written, verbal communication and interpersonal skillsGoal-oriented and strong attention to detail and quality of executionEnjoy a dynamic environment and be confident when juggling multiple prioritiesStrong service orientation; enjoy designing and delivering great customer experiencesConfident in dealing with company personnel at all levelsNice to HaveBS/BA in AccountingExperience with NetSuiteExperience working with or leading global teamsPerks & BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and basic life insuranceFlexible PTO and company paid holidaysRetirement programs1% charitable giving programCompensationBase pay: $100,000 - $160,000The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role.
