What will you be doing in this role?The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the daily processing of vendor invoices, check requests, travel expense requests and patient refunds. Duties include:
High-volume data entry from electronic images with batch balancing.Reviewing, verifying, and correcting OCR extracted data as needed.Provides assistance to Health System departments. Responds to inquiries from internal and external customers. Works closely with the Purchasing, Receiving Departments and internal departments.Analyzes and reconciles vendor statements to Health System balances.Performing other duties as assigned or needed.#Jobs-Indeed
QualificationsRequirements/Skills Sought:High school diploma or GED required.A minimum of 3 years of accounts payable processing or related accounts payable/accounting experience required.Experience in a computerized and high-volume operation. Oracle experience a plus.Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Good verbal and written communication skills required. Good Customer Service skills a must.Why work here?
