Description We are seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Specialist in Santa Rosa, California. The role is within the non-profit sector and will be conducted in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities • Utilizing MIP software system to maintain and manage financial data • Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable functions • Overseeing the confidentiality and ethical standards of financial operations • Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting tasks • Prioritizing workload to meet deadlines in a flexible work environment • Managing customer interactions and resolving inquiries • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential. • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in performing Accounting Functions. • Significant experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP). • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion is a must. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
