Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry, based in Charleston, South Carolina. The role involves dealing with an existing backlog in Accounts Payable and requires a specialist with both knowledge in this area and strong people skills for vendor relationship management. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain vendor relationships effectively • Handle account coding tasks proficiently • Utilize accounting software systems to process and manage transactions • Operate ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial management • Implement Concur for seamless expense management • Leverage ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management • Perform various accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) effectively and timely • Apply accrual accounting principles to financial transactions • Conduct auditing tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy • Operate Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic payments and collections. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding • Experience with Accounting Software Systems • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services • Proficiency in using Concur • Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning • Understanding of Accounting Functions • Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) • Knowledge of Accrual Accounting • Experience in Auditing • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes.
