Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Shakopee, Minnesota. This role is crucial in the manufacturing industry, where you will manage the processing of customer applications, maintain customer records, and resolve customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Efficiently handle customer credit applications • Maintain and update customer credit records consistently • Utilize accounting software systems for various accounting functions • Engage in account coding activities to ensure accurate financial records • Operate ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and Concur systems • Process and monitor Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions • Execute accounts payable (AP) duties as per standard procedures • Implement accrual accounting practices in financial operations • Conduct auditing tasks to ensure compliance and accuracy • Use ADP - Financial Services in managing financial transactions.
