Description We are welcoming an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our healthcare team in Golden Valley, Minnesota, United States. This role involves processing and auditing expense reports, utilizing software like Concur and Excel, and handling various accounting functions. The position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, and the workplace setting is hybrid, requiring presence in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process, verify, and manage a high volume of expense reports monthly. • Utilize accounting software systems, particularly Concur and ERP, for various tasks. • Handle inquiries and provide solutions related to expense reports and accounts payable. • Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in expense reports. • Utilize Excel functions, like pivot tables and VLOOKUP, for data management and analysis. • Participate in corporate programs and projects as required. • Oversee automated clearinghouse (ACH) transactions and other accounting functions. • Maintain accurate records of accounting functions and transactions. • Collaborate with team members and report on accounts payable activities regularly. • Ensure accuracy in account coding and accrival accounting. Requirements • Proficiency in account coding is essential for this role. • Must be skilled in the use of various accounting software systems. • Knowledge of Concur is a requirement for this role. • Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed. • Must have a strong understanding of accounting functions. • Experience with accounts payable (AP) is required. • Knowledge of accrual accounting is essential. • Auditing skills are required for this role. • Should be proficient in the use of Automated Clearing House (ACH).
