Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Specialist in the heart of Dallas, Texas. This role is situated within the Real Estate & Property industry and will involve the handling of accounts payable for multiple entities. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process high volumes of invoices • Maintain precise records of customer credit applications • Set up new vendors as required, ensuring their details are accurately recorded • Conduct weekly check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments • Resolve discrepancies in accounts and invoices • Utilize various accounting software systems, including ADP, Concur, ERP, and JDE EnterpriseOne • Perform various accounting functions, including account coding and accrival accounting • Resolve invoice issues, including discrepancies and reconciliation • Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action as necessary • Carry out auditing tasks as required. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Real Estate & Property industry • Proficiency in account coding and coding invoices • Experience with accounting software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, JDE EnterpriseOne, and Concur • Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems • Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions, specifically Accounts Payable (AP) • Knowledge of accrual accounting practices • Experience in auditing and resolving invoice discrepancies • Proficiency in handling Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions • Ability to process and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently • Experience with invoice reconciliation and payment • Ability to handle invoice issues and discrepancies promptly and professionally • Experience with processing customer invoices and payable invoices • Track record of efficiently approving and coding invoices.
