Description We are currently expanding our team and are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist in Aurora, Colorado. This role resides in the manufacturing industry and involves handling high volume invoice processing, check runs, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of high volume steel and freight invoices. • Manage and be comfortable in a high volume environment, with approximately 400 checks processed per week. • Stay on top of tight deadlines, particularly for steel vendors where timely payment is essential for obtaining discounts. • Handle approximately 200-300 invoices per week, ensuring a three-way match. • Comfortably navigate a multisite environment, coordinating with various sites to ensure correct invoices are allocated to the right locations. • Maintain reliable and consistent performance, understanding the potential for quick escalation of issues within the role. • Utilize accounting software systems, including SightLine, to maintain accurate records and process transactions. • Ensure accurate account coding and accrual accounting, while also managing accounting functions such as Automated Clearing House (ACH). • Utilize Excel and ADP - Financial Services to perform necessary tasks. • Handle any additional responsibilities related to Accounts Payable as needed.
