This temporary role for 6 months.
The position is mainly compiling, processing, and maintaining accounts payable records and working with all functional areas to complete AP tasks. The candidate will need to come in with a strong understanding of accounting and ERP systems and be able to onboard with minimal training.
Function & Scope of Responsibility –
•\tGather & Open Mail
•\tVerify approval on all Invoices & Check Requests
•\tProcess all AP invoices in ERP System
•\tUpdate and Maintain Vendor Database for approved changes
•\tPrepare and process checks for Morristown and Canada
•\tMaintain Accounts Payable Files
•\tReconcile Vendor statements
•\tQuarterly Reconciliation of 10 Supplier statements to the Purchase Ledger
•\t1099 tracking and preparation
•\tOther duties and projects as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications
•\tStrong knowledge of accounting—specifically AP, purchasing, vendors, and general ledger interaction.
•\tExperience working with an ERP system; SAP preferred
•\tAttention to detail and organizational skills required
•\tAbility to work independently
•\tAP/AR or accounting work in a manufacturing setting preferred
•\tProfessional communication skills, both and written and verbal

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00
