Description We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the construction/contractor industry in Fresno, California. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your primary function will be to manage, organize, and maintain company financial records. You will be tasked with handling customer inquiries, managing customer accounts, and processing customer applications with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Efficiently manage and process customer credit applications • Maintain and update customer credit records in a precise manner • Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date • Use accounting software systems proficiently to manage and track all financial transactions • Handle account coding tasks accurately, ensuring all data is correct and updated • Utilize ADP - Financial Services for efficient management of financial resources • Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for streamlined business processes • Perform essential accounting functions and accrual accounting tasks regularly • Conduct auditing activities to ensure financial compliance • Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions efficiently and accurately. Requirements • Proficient in Account Coding, with the ability to assign appropriate codes to various types of transactions. • Experience with Accounting Software Systems to manage financial data efficiently. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services, for seamless payroll and benefits administration. • Knowledge in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, to integrate and manage core business processes. • Strong understanding of Accounting Functions, including the preparation and interpretation of financial statements. • Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), with the ability to manage all outgoing payments. • Skilled in Accrual Accounting, ensuring accurate and timely recognition of expenses and revenues. • Experience in Auditing, with the ability to review financial records for accuracy. • Competence in Automated Clearing House (ACH), to manage electronic financial transactions effectively.
