Accounts Payable Specialist

The Payables Specialist will assist in the full-cycle accounts payable process. The candidate should be a motivated individual who takes initiative to get any and all jobs completed accurately and proficiently, and is someone who is willing to work together as a team to accomplish goals and meet deadlines. Come work and play at Seattleā€™s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long. Responsibilities Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Reviews all vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Charges expenses to the appropriate general ledger accounts and cost centers by analyzing GL coding provided for invoices and expense reports; recording entries into Microsoft Dynamics. Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and Corporate accounts payable files. Responsible for matching all invoices correctly with purchase orders. Process vendor payments and employee reimbursement requests. Reconcile vendor statements, including researching and correcting discrepancies. Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Company policy and accepted accounting practices. Qualifications What we are looking for: High School Diploma/GED and the equivalent of two years of specialized accounting/accounts payable experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Detail oriented, professional attitude and reliable. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, 10-key by touch, Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience a plus. Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications in a business environment; i.e. Outlook email and calendar, Teams, Word, OneDrive, OneNote a plus. Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
