Accounts Specialist Qualifications:
Monitor and distribute invoices received via group email, addressing vendor issues and questions.
Review scanned payment requests and enter data according to established accounts payable procedures.
Collaborate with assigned Market locations or Corporate Department on A/P cycle activities and address market inquiries.
Verify accuracy and post team member records.
Assist in the check run process as instructed.
Maintain organized digital files of processed invoices in the paperless system.
Review vendor statements, obtaining invoice copies for market approval when necessary.
Assist with external auditor requests as needed.
Maintain A/P vendor list and codes, ensuring 1099 compliance for applicable vendors.
Required Skills:
Minimum of two years of general office experience, including accounts payable knowledge.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Reader preferred.
Customer-focused approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Accounts Payable Specialist Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-4 (Flexible hours 30-40 hrs/week)
Pay Rate: $21-$22/hr
