Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Towson, Maryland. In this Contract-to-ongoing position, you will play a key role in managing the accounts payable process, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of invoices and vendor payments. Responsibilities: • Accurately process and code vendor invoices to ensure proper ledger allocation. • Enter invoice data into the system with attention to detail and consistency. • Verify remittance addresses and invoice numbers to prevent payment discrepancies. • Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies in a timely manner. • Prepare and review purchase journals to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Generate cash disbursement journals and manage the check printing process. • Contact vendors to confirm banking information and resolve invoice-related issues. • Scan and organize invoices for record-keeping and compliance purposes. • Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate financial records and support audits. Requirements + At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar role. + Proficiency in coding invoices and managing payable processes. + Experience with ERP systems and tools such as Concur. + Strong knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) and vendor management. + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting. + Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately. + Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams. + Bachelor's degree in Business or related is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
