CTG is seeking to fill an Accounts Payable Representative opening for our client in Buffalo, NY. Location: Buffalo, NY Duration: 3 months, high potential to be converted to a FT employee Pay: Starting at $22/hr Looking for candidates with Oracle AP Subledger platform experience and AP invoice processing and supplier set up experience Overview: The Accounts Payable Representative will be responsible for processing vendor payments and handling various accounts payable functions. This position will require ensuring the accurate general ledger coding of accounts payable items, managing payment processing, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities: Process vendor payments through the accounts payable system. Review, account code, and vouch for equipment funding and administrative accounts payable. Ensure proper general ledger coding of all accounts payable items. Manage, select, and process payments for all accounts payable. Understand payment terms and prioritization to ensure timely processing. Perform data entry for accounts payable. Coordinate the payment process via check and ACH, including printing, mailing, and transmitting data for administrative accounts payable checks and vendor payables. Act as a liaison between the company and external accountants to meet information needs and maintain proper historical records. Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers promptly. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Scope of Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Provide regular updates to Accounts Payable team leaders on the status of projects, invoices, and supplier processing. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisory or managerial responsibilities. Education and Experience Required: Previous experience in accounts payable or a related financial role. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience Preferred: Background in Oracle AP subledger platform. Familiarity with AP invoice processing and supplier setup work. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
