Objective:
Develop complete knowledge about the P2P process to support the Shared Services team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Support the APRS team with managing the Accounts Payable subledger and actively review old/open unresolved debit balances, acting as a decision-maker to resolve/clear them for the Latin America Region.
• Actively monitor and coordinate the resolution of GR/IR accounts and assign issues accordingly.
• Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders (Procurement, Finance, Outsource Partner) to resolve pending invoices and documents in the system.
• Follow up with approvers on aged, unapproved, and rejected invoices, ensuring timely and effective execution of necessary tasks.
• Review vendor reminders and manage fines and escalations received from or towards vendors.
• Track, monitor, and control overdue payments, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
• Support invoice/credit note booking-related queries, corrections, and reversal requests.
• Support contacting vendors to ensure adherence to agreed processes in critical vendor statement and direct debit vendor cases.
• Handle generic mailboxes to support incoming queries and escalations.
• Prepare and validate monthly reports and metrics.
Background & Skills:
• Student of Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related fields.
• Self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a proactive attitude.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and familiarity with accounting practices.
• Team player, motivated to learn, and eager to take on new challenges.
• Language: Intermediate level of English (verbal and written).
• Analytical thinking for identifying discrepancies and improving processes.
